Golf Outing benefitting Homes for Our Troops
August 7, 2014

The CBWS Foundation Golf Outing to benefit Homes for Our Troops was a tremendous success. The fundraiser that began with a modest goal of $5000 resulted in nearly $14,000 to be donated to Homes for Our Troops for the specially adapted home of Corporal Joshua Sams! It was all made possible through individual donations, sponsorship, raffle sales, mulligans and an experience donated by the Cincinnati Reds! The crowd also enjoyed a Happy Hour with music by eMarketing Coordinator, Rod Vedder’s band, Sam and Rod. Josh’s mom, Barb Regan joined us and shared an inspiring video of Josh’s journey.

Thank you to everyone who supported this great cause. View all the photos from the day in the Coldwell Banker West Shell Facebook Album

Blue Gives Back, September 6, 2013
Coldwell Banker West Shell Foundation’s Blue Gives Back was held Friday, September 6th at the Hyde Park Country Club. With 200 in attendance, the venue was buzzing all evening. The silent auction, held in 3 phases contained more than 100 items ranging in value from $10 to $548. The live auction, hosted by Chris Davis, was an entertaining display of haggling and bidding on 16 items, ranging from homemade dinners to experiences at football games, How The Grinch Stole Christmas! and a BMW weekend rental. The largest money-making item was the Kentucky Bourbon Trail which included more than 20 bottles of bourbon and tours of several distilleries on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail. After a lot of back and forth, it went for $1550! By the end of the evening, a total of $31,652 was raised as a result of Blue Gives Back.

Thanks to all who helped to make the evening such a great success including sponsors, donors and volunteers. Learn More...
